How much of the price goes to the Œuvre des Pupilles?
For every Courage et Dévouement patch sold at £7.00, €5 is donated to the Œuvre des Pupilles (the French firefighters’ orphans charity). This is a fixed part of the price, not the whole price.
How does the patch attach?
The back carries the hook side of a Velcro strip, sewn on. The patch attaches to a loop surface, for example the Velcro panel on a uniform or a bag.
Can I order several, for my firefighters’ association for example?
Yes: choose the quantity before adding the patch to your cart, up to the stock shown. For a special request, write to us.
Where do you deliver, and at what price?
We deliver across the United Kingdom by tracked post. The exact delivery price, in pounds, is shown at checkout before you pay. We also deliver to France, the European Union and several other countries: see the Delivery page.
Do you make custom patches?
Yes, from 50 pieces, in soft PVC with relief or embroidered, based on your idea, a drawing or a logo. Describe your project: the request is free and without obligation.
I only have an idea, not a drawing. Is that possible?
Yes. Describe it in your own words and, if you can, attach an image that comes close to it. We will propose a design.
Soft PVC or embroidered: which should I choose?
Soft PVC gives pronounced relief and bold colours; embroidery gives a textile look, more classic. If you are unsure, choose ‘Not sure yet’ in the form: we will advise you based on your design and its intended use.
Which backings are possible?
The back can be left without backing (sew-on patch), be iron-on or have Velcro. The choice depends on the project and its feasibility: we confirm it in the quote.
Which files can I send?
Photos taken with your phone or PDF files, up to 10 MB per file: drawing, logo, old patch or sketch. A sharp photo is enough to get started.
Does a quote request commit me to anything?
No. The request is free and without obligation: it is not an order and no payment is requested. The project only goes ahead once you have approved it.
How much does a custom patch cost, and how long does it take?
The price and lead times depend on the project: quantity, size, material, finishes. We confirm them as we discuss your project and in the quote.
