The website patch41.fr is operated by Léa Mancino, who sells in an individual capacity under the name PATCH 41 (‘we’), established in the United Kingdom: 10 Henbury View Road, Corfe Mullen, BH21 3TA, Dorset, United Kingdom. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit the website, place an order, write to us or send us a quote request, what we do with it and what your rights are.

The information we collect

  • Contact details: name, delivery and billing address, email address, telephone number if you provide it.
  • Order: items purchased, amounts, delivery method, correspondence about the order, returns.
  • Payment: payment is processed by Shopify and its payment providers. We do not receive your full card number.
  • Quote requests (‘Custom patches’ and ‘Custom stickers’ forms): name, email address, organisation, quantity, description of the project, as well as the photos and files you attach.
  • Messages: what you write to us using the contact form, the cancellation form or by email.
  • Browsing: information about your device and browser, IP address, pages viewed, collected by cookies and similar technologies, according to your choices in the cookie banner.

Why we use it

  • To process your order: payment, preparation, shipping, tracking, customer service, returns and refunds. This is necessary for the performance of the contract.
  • To respond to your requests: quotes, questions, cancellation. This is necessary in order to respond to you before or after any contract.
  • To comply with our legal obligations: accounting, tax, legal guarantees.
  • To secure the website and prevent fraud, on the basis of our legitimate interest.
  • To send you our news, only if you have agreed to this (tick box at checkout). You can unsubscribe at any time using the link included in every email.
  • To measure audience and personalise advertising, only with your consent given in the cookie banner.

Who we share it with

  • Shopify, which hosts the shop and provides the checkout page, as well as its payment providers.
  • Tally (Tally BV, Belgium), which provides the quote request forms. The responses and files sent are hosted in the European Union.
  • The carriers responsible for delivering your order, for the information needed for delivery.
  • The authorities, where required by law.

Shopify also uses certain information from your interactions with our shop, with other merchants and with Shopify to provide and improve its services, including personalised advertising. Transfers outside your country

Your information may be processed outside your country of residence, in particular in the United Kingdom, where we are established, and by Shopify in Canada, the United States or elsewhere. These transfers rely on recognised mechanisms, such as an adequacy decision or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

Retention period

We keep your information for as long as necessary to process your order or request and to provide customer service, then for the periods required by law, in particular for accounting purposes. Quote requests are kept for as long as it takes to respond to you and follow up on the project.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can request access to your information, its rectification, its erasure, the restriction of its processing or its portability, object to certain processing and withdraw your consent at any time.
